Subject: Management Companies and Self-Managed Funds Quarterly Statistics – Submission for Q1 2026 (31/03/2026)
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities of the obligation to submit the Quarterly Statistics Form with reference date 31/03/2026.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C767 on 31/03/2026 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNPs’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, for the obligation to submit the Quarterly Statistics Form, QST-MC, Version 25 (‘the Form’), for Q1 2026, by all Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by 31/03/2026.
The above mentioned Regulated Entities that were authorised or appointed to act as External Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation) by 31/03/2026 but have not made use of their authorization, must also submit the Form.
The Form must be successfully submitted via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’) by Friday, 22/05/2026, the latest
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC, only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
Circular C767 also refers to amendments on the new Form, the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC and other important information for completing and submitting the Form.
