Subject: Risk Based Supervision Framework (the ‘RBS-F’) – Electronic submission of information for the year 2025 (Form RBSF-CBR)
Purpose: To inform EU Investment Firms Branches established in Cyprus of the obligation to submit the Form RBSF-CBR, Version 3.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C772 on 03/04/2026 to inform the EU Investment Firms Branches established in Cyprus, which are authorised by the National Conduct Authority of a Member State other than Cyprus and which are operating in Cyprus (‘Cyprus Branches’), that a new version of the Form RBSF-CBR (the ‘Form’), Version 3, is issued.
This Form is issued on an annual basis and its scope is the collection of various statistical information.
CySEC informs that the Form must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC, by all Cyprus Branches that were operational by 31/12/2025. In this respect, EU Investment Firms Branches established in Cyprus, but were not operational as of 31/12/2025, are not required to submit the Form.
The deadline for the submission of the Form is by Friday, 08/05/2026, at the latest.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
Circular C772 also refers to the method of creating, signing and submitting the Form to CySEC and general comments for the Form.
