Subject: Risk-Based Supervision Framework – Electronic submission of information for the year 2025 (Form RBSF-MC)
Purpose: To inform Fund and UCITS Regulated Entities of the obligation to submit the Form RBSF-MC Version 9 for the year 2025.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C777 on 08/05/2026 to inform the Alternative Investment Fund Managers (‘AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, UCITS Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons (‘AIFLNP’), Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs and the Small AIFMs, that a new version of the Form RBSF-MC (‘the Form’), Version 9, is issued.
This Form is issued on an annual basis and its scope is the collection of various statistical information.
CySEC informs that the Form must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC, by all Regulated Entities that were authorized, appointed or approved to act as External Fund Managers (in case no authorisation is required by the relevant legislation), by 31/12/2025. In this respect, Regulated Entities that were authorised appointed or approved to act as External Fund Managers by 31/12/2025 but have not made use of their authorisation or appointment, must also submit the Form.
The deadline for the submission of the Form is Friday, 05/06/2026 at the latest.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the CySEC’s Transaction Reporting System (‘TRS’).
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted to CySEC only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received.
The Circular C777 also refers how to create, sign and submit the Form to CySEC and general comments for the Form.
