Subject: AMLA Reporting Package – Submission of Eligibility Information for the Identification of Provisionally Eligible Obliged Entities
Purpose: To inform Regulated Entities that the AMLA has published a reporting package for the identification of provisionally eligible obliged entities.
In Summary:
CySEC has issued the Circular C783 on 09/06/2026 to inform the Cyprus Investment Firms (‘CIFs’), Crypto-Asset Services Providers (‘CASPs’), Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs’), Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds, Small AIFMs, Internally Managed Alternative Investment Funds with limited number of persons (‘AIFLNP’), UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Management Companies, Internally Managed UCITS and the Companies with sole purpose the management of AIFLNPs, that the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (“AMLA”) has published a reporting package for the identification of provisionally eligible obliged entities.
According to Circular C783, this reporting package is key preparatory step toward the first selection cycle for entities that will come under AMLA’s direct supervision from 2028.
The package consists of two documents:
• “Template_identification_eligible_obliged_entities_Art_153_AMLAR.xlsx” (the Template) and
• the Interpretative Note.
CySEC further informs that Regulated Entities are requested to download the Template from AMLA’s website.
CySEC also informs that the Template must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC, by all Regulated Entities that were authorised by 31/12/2025.
In this respect, Regulated Entities that were authorised by 31/12/2025, but have not made use of their authorisation must also submit the Template.
The Template must be successfully submitted via email to the address risk.statistics@cysec.gov.cy, by Friday, 26/06/2026, the latest.
It is noted that the information that shall be collected through the Template refers to the reporting period 01/01/2025 – 31/12/2025 and reference date 31/12/2025, as relevant.
Circular C783 also refers to general comments for the Template and information regarding a webinar that the AMLA will hold on the 10/06/2026 to guide participants through the recently published reporting package.
CySEC notes that Regulated Entities are required to complete and submit the said Template, in accordance with the instructions provided by AMLA.
